Not gonna lie, one of my favorite parts about writing urban fantasy is determining how and where the fantasy meshes in with reality.
Like, I’m not saying Freddie Mercury WAS a siren, but have you ever heard anyone NOT sing along to Bohemian Rhapsody?
I rest my case.
It is a six-minute song with incomprehensible lyrics that seem to have something to do with murder and demons, with five sections that are completely different stylistically but no chorus.
It was number one on the the UK singles charts twice, 15 years apart, and is by many measures one of the most popular, or the most popular, single of all time.
Yeah, there’s magic involved.
And an absurdly broad swathe of people know it. I have no memory of learning it, do you?

update: there were five (5) smaller dogs inside my dog friend, but now they are all outside of her instead (!!)

Mrs. Puff suffers from Spongebob continuously failing his driving test to the point where he one time crashed so hard, she lost her inflation (since she’s a pufferfish) and was reduced to shriveled wreck.
Don’t forget about how Spongebob constantly harassed and followed Mrs. puff afterwards despite how she clearly didn’t want anything to do with him after the accident.
Bubble Buddy killed a man.
Bubble Buddy poisoned the water supply, burned the crops, and delivered a plague onto the houses of the Bikini Bottom residents.

i hate how fast october is going there’s only like 11 days until halloween and i’ve done literally nothing festive. haven’t watched any spooky movies, haven’t carved a pumpkin, i don’t even have a halloween costume yet… this is so problematic i’m dragging myself right now
